Project Overview
Chicago Culinary Kitchen was moving to a new larger location cross town to allow them to feed more of their hungry fans. During this move, they also wanted to expand their online offerings to further engage their followers, and to do so required a new updated website. So CCK gave Eliix the call.
Challenge
The Palatine-based restaurant with a cult following needed the website to dynamically updated when new specials, new events, and catering opportunities were released. Their prior site which was also made by Eliix got them most of the way there, but wouldn’t be able to be updated that frequently. A custom backend had to be created to support these new dynamic elements.
Solution
After visiting the new location in person to better understand the overall look and feel for the space, we collected hundreds of photos through partner photographers to use on the new website. We chose to build the new Chicago Culinary Kitchen site off of open source Wordpress for the ultimate flexibility and creative freedom.

Result
Our team developed custom back end interfaces on Wordpress for the CCK staff to add new events, new specials, and new holiday catering opportunities. When combined with a whole new refreshed design to better show off their new location, Chicago Culinary Kitchen ended up with a beautiful all new website!
